Golf Dictionary - What golf terms really mean

Last Page| Next Page

A complete A-Z golf dictionary and golfing glossary covering all of the best known and lots of the not so well known golf words and phrases.

However, this is a golf dictionary with a difference, in that it tells the reader the real meanings of a golf word, not the official definition, but the actual real out on the golf course meaning!

For example: -

Top - To hit the ball well above its centreline, causing it to hop or trickle a few feet forward. Topping the ball is a problem that usually afflicts only beginning golfers, and it is quickly left behind once a player has learned to master the hook, the slice, the shank and the airball.
